Community

In joint collaboration with the Government of Senegal and the communities where mining operations will occur, MDL has established funds to support a social programme that will contribute to individual and institutional development to support our Senegalese hosts. 

MDL is committed to improving the delivery of services particularly in the areas of water, health and education and ensure that activities benefit those most impacted by the mining operations.  Activities already completed include the establishment of a local village health clinic at Sabodala, provision of water supply to the Diogo village, and the construction of kindergartens in both project areas.
