Dr Robert (Bobby) V Danchin
(Non-Executive Director)

Dr Danchin has over 40 years’ experience in the exploration industry. He was Chief Executive Officer of Anglo American PLC’s Exploration and Acquisition Division and the Anglo American Group’s Deputy Technical Director (Geology). He was an Executive Director of Anglo American Corporation of South Africa Limited. In 1980, he joined Stockdale Prospecting Limited (an Australian subsidiary of De Beers) as Chief Geologist based in Australia. He remained with that company for 15 years, eventually becoming Exploration Manager heading up its Australian-based diamond exploration program. Dr Danchin was appointed non-executive director of Mineral Deposits Limited on 9 February 2007.
