Murray Grant (Non-Executive Director)

Murray has been a Partner of Actis LLP since its formation in 2004 and prior to that was a Director of CDC Group plc.  He joined CDC in 2001 after a 13 year investment career with 3i Group plc.  There he worked on a diverse range of investments in over 300 businesses across a range of industry sectors.

Prior to working at 3i, Murray spent four years in the construction industry working on large infrastructure projects in Africa, Australia and Papua New Guinea.  These projects were broadly split between the mining and power sectors.  He remains on the boards of African Fabrics BV (The Netherlands), DFCU Limited (Uganda), BCR (Rwanda) and Copperbelt Minerals Ltd (BVI) and is a trustee of AMREF UK.

Murray holds an MBA from London Business School and a BSc (Hons) in Engineering from Edinburgh University.
