The Sabodala deposit is being mined over three phases by conventional open pit methods. Total contained material is 142Mt , including 120Mt of waste and 22Mt of ore to be processed. The life of mine is 10 years at the current ore reserves.

The Grande Côte Project will be developed as a dredging operation with mineralised sand being treated in a floating spiral concentrator, wet concentrator and dry mineral separation plant. Virtually all water and 98% of the sand are returned to the dredge pond within 30 minutes of dredging, providing minimal environmental impact.

Both projects have potential to identify additional mineralisation beyond the limits of present drilling and add to the latest mineral resource/reserve estimates. Extensive resource drilling is continuing on both projects.
